Julie Richt

VP of Sales and Distribution

Julie Richt has 15 years in the insurance industry with experience in Sales & Distribution both with insurance companies as well as an independent agency.  Richt began her insurance career with FirstComp Insurance in Omaha, NE where she was instrumental in opening new states, revitalizing existing agency relationships, and managing program business.  Richt led the Southeast Regional team and was accountable for developing 9 states focusing on agency management, premium growth, and profitability.

Richt then went onto Liberty Mutual Insurance as the Nebraska Territory Sales Manager, specializing in Commercial Insurance products. Richt oversaw a territory of 180 independent agencies writing about $30M in direct written premium which was a mixture of small commercial, middle market risks, and national accounts.  She was accountable for new business opportunities and premium, retention, agency development, agency acquisition, profitability of territory as well as regional results, and distributing new product segments to the marketplace.

Prior to joining Method, Richt spent time at an independent agency as a Producer at Inspro Insurance and was responsible for developing relationships with business owners to evaluate, market, and sell a comprehensive commercial insurance program that best suited their overall business needs and exposures.

Julie Richt attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelor of Science, Communication Studies & Business.  Richt has been licensed for Property & Casualty since 2008, Life & Health since 2015, and is a Certified Insurance Counselor. Richt also serves on the Board of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Omaha (IIAO).
